As a native Californian, lifestyle photographer Elyse Clark began taking photos seven years ago. Often playing with juxtaposing themes such as serenity and motion, Elyse’s work primarily features photographs of nature taken on her travels.

Throughout her series, she frequently explores an innately personal subject: the ocean and our desire to feel connected to it. Her Sony camera is a constant companion, and she directs its gaze to magnify the elusive moments of tranquility we often experience in nature.
